For this release we are introducing the ability to create weblinks within Arkit! This means you will be able to refer to information saved on the web or within cloud databases such as OneDrive, DropBox and Google Drive.
We've also added the ability to archive or delete projects right from the project summary instead of using the dashboard view, and have improved the dashboard. Now when you search for something in Dashboard view, you can navigate away from the dashboard without losing your search: it will remember your search and automatically display those results again.
Using Web Links in Arkit
You can now add web links into any Arkit template to link to files or websites hosted outside of Arkit. Links can be added to any project information panel, from the primary project details to marker information.
To edit the link content, click the link text itself. To open the link, click the blue "open in new tab" symbol to the left of the link text.
Adding Web Links to a Template
Link boxes can be added in the same way as dropdowns and text boxes. Just head over to your templates and drag the "weblink" option into the area where you would like to add links.
Archive and Delete from the Project View
If you'd like to archive or delete projects without going into the dashboard, you can now find these options above the primary project details.
Save Searches and Results in Dashboard
Using Arkit's dashboards will be faster than ever with saved searches! Now you can navigate away from what you're doing without losing your view. Your last search will be kept so you can quickly look back and forth between the dashboard and other areas of Arkit without having to re-enter any search terms.
